BACKGROUND
With the contributions of the speakers and the strong support of the audience, this webinar series has received a lot of attention and interest. Now, the webinar series came to the final stage – Panel Discussion, where we aim to provide a platform between the audience and the presenters. In this discussion, we invite some of the representative speakers from academic and industry, and we also invite some representative participants who are engaged in past webinars. The goal is to identify gaps between current industry practice and academic research, current issues in related educational areas, clarify the link between academic research and engineering practice, and solicit the potential for communication and collaboration to enhance “risk, resilience and sustainability” informed integrity management of infrastructure systems.

1. Which are the needs and potentials for further developments of frameworks, methods and tools for infrastructure integrity management? Are there needs and potentials for modification of, or introduction of regulatory requirements?
2.Which are the bottlenecks for early-stage researcher and professionals for their professional development?
3.What comprises the knowledge domain of risk, resilience and sustainability informed integrity management of infrastructure systems and how to develop a roadmap for education and training of early-stage researchers and professionals?
4. How to narrow the gap between the state of the art and common industry practice
