The American Concrete Institute (ACI) and GLOBE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a framework for collaboration and cooperation between the organizations. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to science-based guidance, credible standards, and global knowledge exchange.
Concrete plays a central role in the built environment and represents a major opportunity for decarbonization through improved materials, optimized structural design, and consistent technical guidance. By working together, ACI and GLOBE aim to accelerate practical solutions that reduce environmental impact while preserving safety, durability, and societal value. This new collaboration with ACI expands GLOBE’s network of institutional partners and strengthens its capacity to support implementation of sustainable construction practices at a global scale.
